Trans Europe Express
Trans Europe Express is radio show, hosted by DJ Dragan, airing live on late Friday nights in Seattle/Bellevue based radio station KBCS 91.3FM. Created in summer 2007, the show is now celebrating it’s first birthday and it’s first podcast !!
Inspiration for the name came from the legendary album Trans Europe Express created by German electronic music pioneers – Kraftwerk. That gives you a hint that this show is NOT about ‘TRANCE’ music at all (which is by the way mine less favorite genre of electronica) – but it explores almost every other aspect of electronic sound, featuring eclectics mix of electronic underground music from Europe – tunes from both signed and unsigned producers, labels and net-labels.
Trans Europe Express features tech-house, techno, minimal, IDM, experimental, ambient and many more.
